The Canadian Water Quality Association will hold its mid-year seminar and meeting on Oct. 23 at Vancouver, British Columbia. Metro Vancouver is hosting a tour of the new Capilano Water Treatment Facility that should come into operation by year's end.
The meeting also features Stephen Lower, Ph.D., and Ron Coleman.
Lower retired from the chemistry faculty at Simon Fraser University in 1999. He is the founder of the AquaScams Web site, which identifies the scams and myriad miscommunications of chemical theory and applications in the water treatment industry.
Coleman I, a consultant, recently published his thoughts on developing service competencies. He speaks and designs seminars, programs, and workshops that cover topics from “Your Million Dollar System” to implementing effective systems, directing your business or managing jobs more effectively.
