South Florida Contracts with Earth Tech

Earth Tech Inc., of Long Beach, Calif., was awarded three general engineering and professional services contracts for the South Florida Water Management District.

The contracts include construction management services, modeling services, and environmental engineering, planning and permitting services. Each contract has a three-year duration, with two, one-year renewal options.

Much of Earth Tech's work will be done to support ongoing drought management issues as well as the Everglades Restoration project currently under way in partnership with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers. Additional project work will be performed to support the Kissimmee River Restoration effort in conjunction with the Corps of Engineers, U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, as well as local and state agencies including the Florida Department of Environmental Protection, Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission.
