Online Maps Allow Users to View Water Quality Trading Activities by State

October 18, 2007

On Oct. 15, EPA announced the launch of online maps that allow users to view water quality trading activity throughout the nation.

The agency created two trading maps: the first shows all trading programs, and the second map shows trading programs that received EPA funding. With each map, users click on a state to receive more information on its trading programs.

To access the maps, go to http://www.epa.gov/waterqualitytrading/tradingmap.html. For more information about EPA Water Quality Trading Program, visit http://www.epa.gov/owow/watershed/trading.htm.
